Leedstickets.com is the official box office website of Leeds University Union (LUU), home of Leeds' legendary gig venue, The Refec, and the award winning nightclub Stylus. Our four music venues host a vast range of club nights and live events throughout the year, including gigs from the next big thing up to established acts, mini festivals, and some of the UK’s biggest and best regular club nights. We also sell tickets for events happening outside of LUU’s venues, including Soundwave and Outlook Festivals in Croatia.

The 2100 capacity Refectory has played host to the most important acts around since the late 1960's, including Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, The Clash, The Killers, Queens Of The Stone Age, Ian Brown and Basement Jaxx. Perhaps the most famous live recording ever made, The Who Live in Leeds, was recorded in The Refectory Return of The Who in 2006 in 2006. Today The Refec is still a popular and much loved concert venue and hosts the main stage for festivals held at LUU such as Slam Dunk, Live at Leeds and Damnation.

The lower ground levels of Leeds University Union holds club suite of three award-winning venues, in use throughout the year for a wide range of club and live shows. Following a refurbishment in 2006 to improve the sound, light and functionality of these venues, Stylus Mine and Pulse at LUU are highly sought after spaces. Our three clubs combine together to hold 1800 ravers for some of the UK’s leading nights including the Friday student night institution Fruity, Wax:On and Metropolis. We also use the clubs separately as needed for club nights and live music. Recent visitors to the stages and DJ booths in our clubs include Annie Mac, Ladyhawke, Maceo Parker, Miike Snow, Roni Size, The Wailers, Noisettes, 2Many DJs, Andy C, The XX, Flying Lotus and Hot Chip.

All of our shows and club nights are open to non-students as well as students, and most of our live music gigs are open to over 14s. Please check the terms and conditions prior to purchase of your ticket.

The Leeds Summer Ball is held at the end of every academic year at Lotherton Hall on the outskirts of Leeds. This black tie event with a festival feel gathers together thousands of students from across all higher education institutions in Yorkshire and is the largest student-only event of its kind in the UK with 8000 attendees in 2010. Previous headline acts include Florence & The Machine, Erol Alkan, Scratch Perverts, The Wombats, Booty Luv, Pendulum, Pigeon Detectives and dozens more.
