We can all relate to The Night Cafe with a procrastination of doing our homework. However they didn’t just watch television to avoid doing their homework, they formed a band (a very good one). Liverpudlian school mates Sean, Josh, Arran and Carl all found each other bonding over a love of Bombay Bicycle Club, Kings Of Leon and Fleetwood Mac which would lead them to jam together in class. They took inspiration from different bands, sounds, and genres and produced a sound that compliments all of their tastes with a fresh Indie-pop sound. They began writing their own lyrics, then lyrics turned into songs, songs turned into albums, then albums turned into touring with The Wombats on their arena tour. Now they’re out on their own tour landing at Stylus on 27 September.
